Find the biodiversity potential in your land today

With increasing demand for farmers to diversify, environmental offsetting solutions provide a guaranteed income for 30 years.

BNG is a low management option for farmers and landowners to provide biodiverse habitats on their land.

Flexible land service options

Our services are flexible to meet your needs. We offer a range of services so the landowner can have as much or as little input as required. Unlike our competitors we can offer tailored options for your returns, from capital payments to a more traditional annual income, on a per hectare basis. We cover the cost of the seeds as well as all the ecological and agronomical work required throughout the 30-year term.

“The BNG market provides the potential for landowners to diversify their income streams, predicted to be worth £135-274 million annually”

Why Us?

No upfront costs

We provide all implementation costs including the ecological work and seed, de-risking landowners entry to the scheme.

Land management background

Our management team has an extensive understanding of farming, development and town planning from decades of experience working in these industries. We are also landowners ourselves and have extensive knowledge of agriculture and land managements.

Flexible service model

Unlike our competitors, we offer a flexible service model to meet your needs giving you as much or little control as you wish.

Parcel Size

Depending on location, we will consider any size or number of parcels within a holding. We believe BNG can work alongside traditional farming instead of replacing it

Tailored payments

We can create bespoke payment structures using a blend of capital payments as well as annual payments, that can be adjusted to meet your requirements.

Software Platform

Our software platform – BeeNG – ensures all monitoring and compliance is as seamless as possible whilst also offering a marketplace for developers to buy BNG units. By utilising the latest technology we will ensure your time is used efficiently.

How it works

At BNG Partnership our aim is to make the whole process as simple and hassle free for a landowner to gain income from Biodiversity Net Gain.

  1. Submit

Once you have submitted your land, a member of our team will arrange a site visit with you to go through the process and answer any questions.

  2. Survey

We carry out ecological surveys on the land including a baseline, habitat creation proposal and a Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan.

  3. Sign

We finalise legal agreements with the Council or a Responsible Body which then allows us to register the habitat bank on the Defra register.

  4. Sell

Being demand lead, we will normally have a developer requiring units already, these can now be sold to the developer and we will market any remaining units on your behalf.

  5. Start

Once units have been sold, the habitat needs to be implemented which can either be done by the landowner or by our team of experts.

  6. Sustain

The habitat is maintained for 30 years in accordance with the management plan. The habitat will be monitored by an ecologist as regular intervals to ensure it is meeting its targets.
