Carbon, Our Planet & Humanity

1: What is a carbon footprint

A carbon footprint is the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere as a result of the activities of a particular individual, organisation, or community.

2: What is the impact of too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere?

Extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases the greenhouse effect. More thermal energy is trapped by the atmosphere, causing the planet to become warmer than it would be naturally. This increase in the Earth's temperature is called global warming.

3: What things can I do to reduce my carbon footprint?

  • The single most effective action you can take to combat climate change is to reduce the amount of meat you eat.
  • Unplug your devices.
  • Drive less.
  • Don't buy “fast fashion”
  • Plant a garden

4: What if I want to be carbon neutral?

It's very difficult for individuals or organisation to become carbon neutral just by taking conscious, positives steps we've suggested alone. However, we can provide you with a method of doing so by purchasing a number of carbon credits - either as a one-off transaction, or if you calculate your monthly carbon footprint, you can set up a monthly payment to ensure you're always carbon neutral .

5: What are carbon credits?

A carbon credit is a permit that allows a person or organisation that holds it to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases. One credit permits the emission of a mass equal to one ton of carbon dioxide.

For every ton of carbon dioxide that you emit, we will offset at least one ton within one of our many environmental projects around the world.

6: How do I know where my money goes?

Our platform is the world's first auomatically audited piece of software for trading environmental currency. We work with authorities around the globe to ensure that every environmental credit is traceable. When you purchase credits within our platform you will receive a certificate confirming how many credits you have purchased and where that offset is going to take place.
